Default Wood Trim for 996? Defroster/Dash Area

Need some help. The wood trim on my dashboard (2-thin strips) cracked and needs to be replaced. These strips are very expensive. Anyone else have this issue and replace them with an aftermarket part?

Yep.
Exotic Wood Dash.com
Worked fine for me.
My porsche had the steering wheel + hand brake in dark wood.
I sent them a whole bunch of pieces, including the mid console.
The aftermarket 'wood' is 97% close to the original Porsche. You really need to know in order to notice the difference.

I just posted shots of my trim. Here's a tip, don't get wood trim in a 996!
