Looking for some advices and recommendations on the equalizer optimum setup, if that exists, on the OEM PCM-1 head unit ('00 996). Did a search but came up nothing... For short trips, I don't bother to turn the system on but for longer trips, it could be nice since I am also using the info from the trip computer, and NAV. I tried different Equalizer settings but all sound terrible, not sure if anyone here have found a decent setup for both clear sound of the vocals and background music? Actually with the "Loudness" ON the sound quality seems to be worse, huh? I am not looking to upgrade this system yet so any help with the OEM PCM-1 with DSP and Loudness setup will be greatly appreciated.
