Tires in Denver area?
So, I had my first blowout as a driver yesterday....in 20 years of driving, I've been pretty lucky, and now it has to happen on my C4S. Luckily I was on a main street in Boulder driving about 25 mph when the right rear blew (and man, it was violent for only 25 ...thought it was something much worse).
Anyway, I've been a slacker about replacing the rears since I picked up the car in Feb - although I've only put about 3k miles on it, I suppose I should have known better...the CPO dealer (Stevinson in Littleton) replaced the fronts with Pirelli PZero Rossos (but left the rear Asyms pretty worn - hence why I got a killer deal on the car). The Rossos are in real good shape, so I'll be going with a matching rear set.
So the question is, should I go with the dealer (Prestige in Lakewood....been taking my allroad there for a while, so I have very good experience with them) at a $100 price increase for both tires over other discount places (in addition to whatever labor premium) or does anyone here have a better suggestion? Granted, I've been set with paranoia by other people in terms of a discount place trashing my turbo twists, hence why the stealer is my first choice
TIA

I would not trust the "dealer" any more then the discount guy. I just had my C4 in for a non-starting problem and they trashed my car and caused some minor damage to it. This was with a dealer that I have had a long standing relationship with. So that has all ended, I’ll no longer use them for service or buy from them again. So no matter who you take it to I would be there and watch the work being done to it.

Discount Tire Co. is a reputable nationwide chain that has experience with wheels of high end cars. You will also get a much better price with them than the stealer. But definitely watch them while they work on it.

I have had very good experiences at my local Discount Tire store. They have installed 6 tires for me with only one small issue. Small scratch on one wheel, which they paid to have touched up.
