Always clutch seems stiff after hire car?
I always think I have a clutch prob after being in hire cars. I have not driven my porsche for 2 weeks as I have been on holiday in hire cars. First time I get in the p car clutch is like I need some lead in my foot to get it down. Just to check, is there any test to see if it is wearing down too much? I remeber it also being a lot lighter after my last major service.

When a clutch is new, it has a lighter feel. As it gets worn, it willl have a stiffer or heavier feel.
Actually some clutches are stiff right out of the box. My '02 M3's clutch was extremely stiff the first time I drove it and the car had 4 miles on the odometer when I took delivery..
