Default Another weekend, More changes...

I finally added the clear tail lenses and sidemarker. I can't afford the fronts right now but i will eventually get there!

I painted the calipers yellow with the G2 paiting system. Im sure some will cry PCCB's but i think they look great(Thanks newport996!). I wish i would of put a 3rd coat on them, but they look pretty good.

The car was also completely stripped and recovered with a 3 step process and porter cable. The previous owner wasn't skilled with a buffer and left a quite a bit of swirl. It has that wet look again

Enjoy the pics

-Keith

I guess I am the last of the dying breed of coloured corner lovers. Your paint looks good, black is the dual edged sword, eh? Lots of work but big payoff when it is clean.

Nice looking car... Yellow calipers do look cool on dark color car. Regarding your wheels, I just wish that mine are as clean as yours (without curb-rashes & scratches), sigh!!! If I may suggest, add spacers to both fronts and rears, it will really change the look of the car.
Cheers,

Cheers,
I have spacers on the rear. I think they are only 5 or 7mm.

One of my rims paint is bubbling and flaking off so they arent completely perfect. I am thinking of refinishing them in Black or gunmetal...

I want to get some iForged Monaco's but they cost an arm and a leg. I am only willing to give up a finger right now!

I agree with the door plug. Also, contact Eric for painted bumperettes!

Nah, too much black. A little contrast is good. I personally think that you can have too much monotone.

...although, the tints look good on the red car.

What products did you use with the Porter Cable? It looks great and I am really jealous!

Keith, just remember when you add the spacers you may/will have to get longer lug bolts.

Not "may", he WILL need longer bolts. Even with 5MM spacers.
