Default OBD Code P1118

On my way back home after a 200 mile trip (mostly highway) at 65-75mph.I was on a secondary road two miles from my house my car had the CEL come on!! I did a code reader at home and got one code P1118. Renntech.org gave it an oxygen sensor heating after TWC bank 2. Anyone have any ideas?? It was a friggin hot day (86F). I reset the code but wanted to check with the forum before I took off again. I have a 2001 C4 just hit 20,000 miles new oil air oil filter about 5000 miles ago. Thanks

Why are you doubting what you read at Renntech.org? That site is extremely helpful in these situations.

BTW, My 2001 C4 had 20,000 miles on it in 2002.. hehe you need to drive it more!

I guess my question is. Do i do anything about it? Wait till it thows another code out? Should I bring it to the dealer? Will I damge anything by driving it? I searched the forums but not much info about what the problem may be. Was it a fluke because of the super hot weather.Where is this guy Loren when I need advice??

If the CEL comes back you probably need a new O2 sensor or heater (yes, they have heaters so they can measure quickly at start-up).
