Default Will a crescent wrench work on the 27mm belt tensioner?

Or do I have to buy the socket? I know the socket is a better choice but I'm wondering if the crescent wrench will work. My upper idle roller broke and it snapped the belt.

Thanks,

Mike

Yes, but it is tricky not to angle to wrench so it does not slip off. Socket is much easier.

It should be 24 mm. A 15/16 inch socket will work (much better than a crescent wrench).
