Default Yearly Maintenance Cost

Am deciding to purchase a used 1999 911. What's the average yearly maintenance on a car such as this:

1999 Porsche 911 withn 25k miles, one owner, no accidents.

Thanks.

Will you be tracking the car?

How many miles a year do you plan on driving?

What part of the country do you live in?

Will you be driving the car in all weather conditions?

Do you know how many dimples are on a golf ball?

432 dimples on my Titlelist.

No tracking. It'll be my weekend car. I live in CA. Car would be garaged. about 4000 miles a year. Driving mainly in sunny weather. Whew. Now I'm winded...

I would think your yearly maintenance would be very low. You'll want to change the oil and you may want to take it to the dealer or indy shop and have them do the 30k service for the first year.

Assuming new tires, you'll need new rears in year 3 and the 45K service. If you take it to Porsche the service intervals are about $700, at that point you'll probably need new brakes.

Well, that's just luck of the draw on RMS and clutch, but the belts shouldn't need changing till 60k (or 10 years, in my personal opinion). 60k service on my '02 just ran $1400.

60K service on my 99 ran about $850 including belts (Indy shop). I expect to get new brake pads/rotors in the next year or so but I'm not sure how much that should cost me.

RMS seals are not GOING to need to be replaced, they MAY need to be. And if you do have an RMS leak down the road, have the clutch replaced at the same time to save on the labor costs.

I had almost 60k miles on my 2001 and the clutch was just started to get to the point where I would have replaced it.

Many people DYI. The dealer is a complete joke, I think I paid $200 at the dealer, an Indy about $80.

The best is Manhattan Motor Cars, $400 for an oil change.

I wouldn't be worried about yearly maintenance cost!!! BUT I would be worried about yearly MOD cost!!!!
MY indy charges 185 for an oil change!! I thought this was a little steep too...but I am not doing it myself...to messy!

I paid 850 for the 60K at an indy dealer
