Incredible sighting this morning in NY

The latest version of the Pagani Zonda, the F, is not street legal here in the US. According to Pagani, they are working on a street legal version that should be out in 2008.
What you saw on the Hutch may have been the previous version, the S, which was street legal in the US -- with added airbags and tweaked OBD to comply with emissions standards -- although I am not sure exactly how many were sold here. (Note: There were 4 Pagani Zonda S's brought to the US for track use only, not street legal.) While I am sure Pagani would love to make their cars street legal in the US, it is a bit difficult when they only produce 20-25 cars a year.
I saw a few Zondas when I lived in Europe -- both coupes and roadsters. The last time I saw one was when I was driving to the Cote d'Azur from Pisa. It looked awesome and it sounded great in those tunnels through the mountains.

a guy in my garage has a zonda and a F430. Rich bast. Also yesterday I was following a red 430 in Prague. All the heads were turning and no one looked at my car Ferraris and Lambos definately get far more attention and in the publics eyes make a porsche look like a nissan micra.

That Zonda was a Roadster S. Burgundy Red with black roof and beige interiors. It belongs to a well know US/italian collector, who happens to have another silver Zonda S in your country, and a pearl white/blue Zonda F Clubsport here in in Italy.
For a total of 3 Pagani cars: plus a CGT, MC12, 333SP, 2 Enzos, F40, Ford GT... He uses to apply a particular symbol on the front fenders of his cars, just like the Scuderia Ferrari shields...
Let me guess: plate started with EE, right?

Went to the Concorso d'Italia at Monterey a couple of weeks ago. Needless to say, there were plenty of Ferrairs, Lambos (what a sweet sound they make), Pantera's, Alfa's, Fiat's, well you get the idea. One dealer had a Styker. Has anyone seen the design of this car? Absolutely stunning details. The design got right at the honesty of design, exposing all of the connectors, and other bits that hold the car together. The stunner is the shifter in the car is mounted on a stainless steel rod connected to the tranny. Talk about honest and just striking detailing. Not sure how it goes with the Audi drive train, but the details are sweet.
