Default 996TT wheels on a 996 Cab-4

Has anybody put 997 turbo wheels on their 996 narrowbody? Specifically, I'm wondering if they are going to go on my 2000 Cab-4.

My current wheels are 17" 7x55 front, 9x55 rear. The turbo tires are 18" 8x60 front, 10x65 rear. Am I going to need spacers or anything?

TIA.

Nope. The offset on those rear wheels will not work. And spacers will not work since the offset already on the wheels will push them outside your rear fender.

Here are the new TT specs:
8.5J x 19 ET56 front
11J x 19 ET51 rear

These are 18's. Maybe these are not 997 TT wheels because they are 18x8 and 18x10. I am asking the guy to confirm the offsets and also his tire sizes now...

Regarless, if they are OEM TT wheels they will NOT fit on the rear. The widebody offset will be one that causes the wheel to be ouside the fender of a narrow body car.

these sound more like 987 wheels maybe....a 997 TT will not have a 10" rear when the 997 c2 has an 11" rear. the rear wheels you described sound like they are 996 wheels, 18x10 with a 65 offset...fronts will fit with a 15mm spacer but will still be pushed in your fender....

OK FINALLY, here are the full facts. The car they are coming off of is a 2001 996TT.

I'm looking in the PET and I think the relevant info for the 2001 996TT is:

Front wheels: 996 362 136 04 8Jx18 ET 50
Rear wheels: 996 362 142 01 11Jx18 ET 45

The ET values are the offsets.

My 2000 Cab-4 Wheels are:

996 362 124 01 7Jx17 ET55
996 362 128 01 9Jx17 ET55

LVDell, you're probably right. So my big concern is whether an 11" rear wheel with a 45mm offset is going to fit without rubbing on a MY2000 996 Cab-4 that currently runs a 9" wheel with a 55mm offset.

Plus, soon I will be lowering the car 1". What might not rub now could start rubbing then.

Anybody done this before?

Simply put, the rear will NOT work. Fronts would be just fine.

rears absolutely will not work....you need a 65mm offset to fit an 11" rear....thats too wide by over half an inch.
