Wow! You can tell alot about who on this thread actually earned their money and who got their's from mommy and daddy and get most everything given to them rather than having to earn it.

This is a car that has not been well liked by it's owners... nothing sadder than an orphan Porsche. I thought they were a myth, but here is one in the flesh. Sad, lonely, rejected - wandering from state to state looking for a loving owner and in some cases rejected iin less than three days. How sad can you get.

BTW, I agree about the carfax. $20 on an expensive car to save you lots of money is nothing. It pays for itself even if you only look at one car.

So true, but you should see some of the Honda and Acura boards!
Now, who can help me distract the local Pcar dealer so I can steal a set of GT3 seats while his back is turned? I mean, it's not like Porsche care about us, so it's OK, right?

if you look at the dates for the carfax report, you can easily see that several of the ownership changes occurred within days of each other. To me, this means that their were either dealer trades or auctions and that the buyer registered the title. How else would you explain owners 3 & 4 only owning the car for about 2 weeks????
As for the service itself, befriend someone who works for a car dealership and you can get the info at any time. And as for posting it here, what is the big deal? The poster obviously has an account with carfax and is simply getting value from the service. My preference would have been to simply PM or email the info, but it truly is no big deal. Carfax did not lose any money here.
