I saw this ad for an 02 cab in MD with 14K for only $38K and change...sounds too good to be true but though I would post in case someone wants to check it out.

too good to be true if title is clean without body work. on a car like this, you don't want to go cheap and finding out surprises that costs lots of $$ later.

has history...may mean they have all papers....but for 38K it might means....never been hit....but maybe the owner hit something himself!! When is seems to good to be true...it probably is!

Rather than speculating, it wouldn't hurt to call the seller and ask him some questions. I called a guy a couple of months ago about an '03 C4 vert with 25K miles that he was selling for $59K. The first question I asked was when did the car's warranty expire. The guy replied that he didn't know since a friend picked it up for him at an auction, and he didn't have any paper work. Although buying a car from an auction doesn't necessarily mean that the car is bad, it certainly is a red flag as far as I'm concerned, especially when the asking price is nearly $60K.
