Question Need good upholstery shop in San Diego

Anyone know of a good upholstery shop in San Diego. There are hundreds here but I would lik eto find one that someone has had a good experience with in the past. I need to get my plastic window in my convertible top repaired/sewn and my seats are in need of some touch-up. Also, I need a good Porsche mechanic just in case I ever need a repair.

Thanks

David,

just Emailed my buddy who had his rear screen replaced to ask him who he used in SD - I'll report back as soon as I hear anything.

As for an indy mechanic, I use All German Auto in Escondido,

They did a great tech day for the local Porsche group last year, and after looking around the service facility and talking to the owner and techs, Im using them for all work on the Boxster and 996.

They have the full Porsche diagnostic tools, and really know their German engineering.

Chris.

Here you go David:

Ocean Beach boat and auto
upholstery
4838 Voltaire street
San Diego, ca
619-223-9797

They are famous for 356 concour quality, orignal fabric, top
replacement. My window replacement cost about $400.00. New top was
about $900-1100. That was about 2 years ago.

David,

Can't vouch for them myself but Pioneer has recommended Eurotrim Upholstery at 858-5271-4208 for interior leather work. Might want to give them a call...

I went to Eurotrim yesterday. The owner Joey V. seemed very knowledgable and experienced with Porsches. He quoted me $240 to re-stitch my factory plastic window back in; that included the labor to remove/reinstall the top. If I wanted a new window, the whole job would be $450 which seemed very reasonable.
