Windshield wipers with top down?
While driving yesterday i almost hit my windshield wipers while i had my top down (you see, on my 7er the gear changes are where windshield wipers are).
The following question crossed my mind: does porsche disable windshield wipers when the top is down so people dont trigger them by accident and sprey their interior?

no, the wipers are not disabled when the top is down. in fact, i've driven in the rain with the top down and have used them. the sides of the doors get pretty wet but i usually have the top up before it starts downpouring. i usually try to keep the car above 40 and find a dry spot to put the top up if a steady amount of rain is coming down. i've noticed light rain doesn't enter much of the car at speeds above 40.
if the top is down and you bump the washer your interior may get wet depending on how long you activate the lever.
however, i like the fact that there is no disablement.

I had my top down today, and while messing around with the tonneau cover, I hit the washer and it sprayed...so there's no disable feature in ithe washer/wipers with the top down.
