My bad - thanks - I've learned more from this site than I ever could have imagined, and I appreciate the guidance and apologize for any dumb questions.

I just called Jeff at Sunset Imports since I wasn't sure what I was missing and he sent me that diagram. Best is to contact your local dealer or Jeff and ask them for the correct PN specific to your car model year. I got both rubber lip, air scoops and all attachment screws all for $44 including shipping to CA. Sorry for the small size pics since I had to shrink it in order to post it here.
Cheers,

Try this link. It is a PDF of the 996 parts. Look for 996_USA_KATALOG

https://rennlist.com/forums/showpost...85&postcount=2

If you have Adobe Reader you can lok at the entire catalog. Scroll down to page 216 (using the scroll bar on the right to get the page numbers). Then you can enlarge the diargam as needed to see the detail. You can save the file on your PC, so you can reference it later, as needed. Just remember where you filed it and remember the file name.

Hope this helps

I hope you know that your engine is in the back! THese scoops are there to guide air towards the front brakes to cool discs and calipers.

Ciao,
In the back?... really? Damn, now I'm going to have to cancel the ram-air hood scoop I ordered yesterday!

Johannes - BTW, the pic of your car in your Sig looks AWESOME!
