Audio headunit replacement with aftermarket in MY2003 possible???
i want to replace porsche becker CDR23 with eclipse cd7000. will the fact that car uses MOST be an issue for this DIY? is it simple swap or is there more to it? anybody done headunit replacement on 2003/2004 model years?

No problems at all to remove and replace the stereo system with any aftermarket units avaliable. You should go to a couple of real auto stereo shops and see what is available and see the quality of work they do.

The only issue is that no aftermarket head unit will work with the MOST bus amplifier. So he will also need a new amplifier and have them wired to the existing speakers....sounds simple, but it may begin to get costly....but it is very possible.
