Does anyone know a source for on-track insurance?

Try J.D. Heckman (in Pennsylvania).... Their website (http://www.ontrackinsurance.com) seems to be down now, but I've gotten quotes from them in the past.

No affiliation/just trying to help/caveat emptor/etc.

Nick,
I remember getting a quote from them and then their carrier pulled the plug. I had aske them about obtaining coverage for PCA Club Races and DE's. I have purchased coverage through Conseco for Club Races on my track car but for DE's I am pretty much on my own.

State Farm covers me as long as I am not envolved in a "timed" event. So, I think I am okay at DE's.

The problem is that State Farm and other standard carriers won't write a policy for a race car.

Greg - Their carrier pulled the plug? Interesting....DE/racing insurance has always struck me as fertile ground for problems relating to selection bias / moral hazard / outright fraud.

How did you get your Conseco insurance? Through a brokerage? I have pit & paddock coverage (basically any time the car is not under its own power) through Parish Heacock, but would like to add on-track coverage for my race car.

BTW - are you coming to CMP this weekend?
