The brake is the metal one. I thought about self tapping (sheet metal) screws all around, but opted for self locking nuts for the brake and clutch.

I agree 100% that the kit should have came with better screws. Upon opening the kit and looking at the screws I decided to go and get the nylok nuts and a couple more sheet metal screws before I started the project, so I thought the install was easy and am 100% satisfied with the kit. I also removed the rubber pads from the brake and clutch pedal and was able to use the supplied bolt with the locking nut I purchased. I used the sheet metal screws for the accelerator and dead pedals.

Install took less than an hour including the trip to the hardware store. The pedals in the link I purchased were from the same eBay seller.

No - just clamp in place - drill and screw in the 1" self tappers - making sure the logo lines up of course!

The seller is listing them for 185.00 now. He must have heard the rave about those pedals from rennlist.

Just wait. The price varys from listing to listing. You might check out the other items he has for sale, usually even they vary on price.

I jumped on them. What the hell, 105.00 bucks with shipping. I'll let you guys know how it goes when I get them and do the install. Thanks for all the information. What a great place to trade knowledge. Rennlist rules!
