In the bottom left shot, we can see the wing-tip vortices form and shed pretty clearly. What is the condensation from the fuselage? Is it a shock wave or something else? What's the speed of the plane and what camera did you use to get the shot?

Thanks for the kind words. But, as much as I would like to have the thunder, most of those are not my shots. They're taken by our photographer's mates and get posted on our "Photo of the Day" board.

In my Arktik Silver 00 C2 I have a CD that includes the opening music to Top Gun (where they show planes launching off the carrier) followed by Danger Zone.
There's nothing like playing that opening song on your way to the highway and playing Danger Zone as you enter the highway, now staying at or under 65, thats something else.
