Default Front Tire Wear

All,
Couple of questions.

I have approx 15,000 on a set of Dunlop 9090 front tires and they show a lot of wear on the extreme edges, perhaps 1/2" from the very edge of the tread pattern, and past the contact patch when the car is driving in a straight line. The front drivers side is worse than the passenger side. The rest of the tire has lots of life left.

Is this normal ??
Do i need a re-alignment? Is there a better alignment for "spirited" driving ?
Did i cause this on the AX course and Skip Pad ?
Im planning to do a DE day next month... is there an alignment spec for this that can be used on the road everyday ?.. im a complete Newbie to the track, but dont want to burn thru a set of tires every event if possible.

I took it to the tire installers and they said i couldnt swap fronts between sides as it would screw up the handling. Is this right ?

I only have 15,000 on the car and im on the third set of rears. I thought the fronts would also last a bit longer than 15k.

Thanks for the advice
