48,000KM service
Hi,
For those Canadians out there... or others who may know, does $1100CAN sound reasonable for the 48,000KM service? Actually the car is approaching 96,000KM, but the service seems the same... is it? Thanks for any replys.

I guess I wasn't specific. Yes the car has already been serviced (the 48K service) along with what appears to be 5K oil change intervals. No, I was refering to having the 96,000 performed. It's just that it appears that the 48K service and the 96K are the same. Perhaps I'm mistaken? I just figured not as many people would answer the 96K service question due to most people not driving their cars as much... which begs the question why?

Pfaff porsche here in Toronto quoted me $1100 tax in!... that includes an oil change which if you had done you can subtract about $225 from that price.. the other expensive piece is the air filter... but $1100 is standard... its probably best you do it at a porsche dealership because if something goes wrong with your 996 (the dreaded coolant leak) they will be much more inclined to show grace and fix your car given you've service your car there!
