Question Coolant level...

Some of you may remember I posted a topic about a low coolant warning. Well, after topping off (I added about 10-16 oz of mix), and doing about 3k worth of hard driving, the level is steady (knock on wood).

I certainly hope this is an indication that after 4+ years of use, it is normal to have some coolant loss.

Would anyone agree/disagree?

FOUR YEARS and you havent checked coolant?!

Surely it is normal to have coolant loss, i mean four years is enough to even consider loss due to osmosis in the pipes!!

Dont worry, I do have a 200ml loss every couple of months and that is sort of normal knowing my hard driving conditions and the weather here..

Sleep tite!

Waz,

I have owned the car for 6 months. I'm assuming it hadn't been checked for a long time...
