Hey Blacksport350,

Did you previously own a M Roadster and visit the M forum? I also recently made the switch to a 996. I installed the Fabspeeds this past Saturday and had similar issues, but I was able to resolve them. I love the new sound although it could be a tad bit louder for me.......

I notice that some people dont even use a lift to install mufflers, is it necessary to lift the car?

I used Rhino Ramps when I installed my PSE.
Jack stands would suffice as well.
