Aero kit
I'm looking into adding the front and side aero kit parts to my '00 996. I've got auto body connections, so the painting won't be too much of a problem.
My question is; are the factory parts the only way to go, or are any of the aftermarket aero kits just as good for less money?
Thanks.

You get what you pay for. Factory is the ticket. For good prices, check www.carnewal.com (I am a satisfied customer)

I did the factory kit on my 99 and I regret that I didn't know of the exact clone aftermarket rear spoiler with the integrated high mount brake light.

Bought an aerokit from Carnewal for $1800 less than a Porsche dealer. Carnewal's price usually includes shipping, but you have to pay an import duty and freight from POE. It's still a deal.

You may want to check with Phil Anderson at Suncoast Motorsports, last time I asked they were having a special on the aero bumper cover that was a mile below any other price I have seen.
