Default How do you

get the dust and *horrors!* the leaf out of the parcel shelf on a 996 cabriolet? I first noticed the carpeted area under the rear window last week, and there for all the world to see and my eternal shame was an old, wrinkled, brown oak leaf. I tried sucking it out with a vacuum nozzle at the local filling station, but the *Jump Seats* backs make access to that area all but impossible. Do I have to remove the back seats? Is this as bad for my social status as *Ring Around The Collar* was when I was a kid?

Stop the top 1/2 way between up and down. Use a nozzle on a vacuum to suck out the debris.

1) Stop the top about 1/2 way between open and closed
2) Reach under the rear window and pop the 2 cables holding down the rear window.
3) Flip up the rear window and vacuum to your heart's content. If you look down the sides of the car there are probably leaves and crud in all the nooks and crannies as well.
