Post Can cruise control be added on a C4

I have a 99 C4 tip (UK). Seeing as the car is "Drive by wire" can cruise control be easily added (as per saabs and audis with similar arrangements)

Cruise Control was standard on all MY99 C4 worldwide (to my knowledge). Should be the small lever on the lower right side of the steering wheel. (See your owners manual under Automatic Speed Control).

I stand corrected. It was on option on RoW cars.
I don't see a upgrade kit in the parts list. Could it be that if you turn on the OBC (done by a cooperative dealer with their PST2) and add the additional steering wheel stalk that it will work? The other OBC functions work if you do that.

The shop foreman at my local dealer was working on this with a Boxster with e-gas but ran out of time. Wires from the stalk are run to the DME and with the PST2 the DME is told the cruise control is present, but there is more involved. Jeff
