First off this was directed to me, I love the 993 and my best friend happens to have a very nicely done 1996 C4S. Now maybe you should ask this question in the 993 forum, Some and very few have a very bad attitude towards the 996. Some of those members have their heads so far up their asses. Its stupid comments like: Its a not a" True Porsche" or" It looks like a boxster"or " Its watered down". Funny for not being a true Porsche its faster, lighter, handles better, has an AC that works, doesn't have 20 year old technology , way better options, less expensive to maintain good looking, and the most important more HP, and more TQ. I am sure somebody will post this on the 993 forum and take what i say out of context. I don't think you can compare the 993 vs the 996 , both awesome cars but very different, however you can compare some of the owners, you will not see many in here bash the 993, unlike what some the 993 guys do to the 996. Is this clear on how I feel and why I bash some owners.

I personally do not like 993's. I mean they are old now. I look at the interior and it is like and old smelly shoe. I really do not get the fascination with them. Infact when I see some pleb in one I see a wannabe porsche guy in an old fart mobile that looks like a museum peice.
For me it is about getting the next, newest most expensive porsche because a porsche is about flaunting rediculous amounts of money on a super speed machine. Call me shallow but I like a porsche because it does 280 km/h, I often get close to those speeds on Czech roads and also because it is bling bling $$$. A 993 is a rust bucket and a has been.

"Proof that the silly comments can come from 996'ers also"
I don't get it? Why buy an oldy mouldy car? Unless you are poor of course. Each to their own but for me I want a new/newish car not something that was made way in the last decade.
