The only thing that is holding me now is because i respect all the people in this forum and the country i've been raised in.

i dont know what to reply or what to say to groberts & people who think the same way, but i think reality proves it. let me go through a list of what the UAE (United Arab Emirates) made to me.

i am a 20 years old student and i study in one of the best universities in the middle east.
UAE Pay univ Fees
UAE Pay me Salary to study and live with it
UAE Gave me the oppurtunity to Save$$ and buy a 996
UAE Give me 20,000 dollars to help me get married
UAE give me a House to live in
UAE give me a farm to get income from
UAE Give me land + 200,000$ to build a house

UAE gives more and more and more .....

I Give UAE all my Life and Soul ........ and I dont let or allow any low life level human who ever he is to say anything bad or harm my country.

With all respect to members of rennlist i mean no offence or nothing toward anyone of you i just wanted to express my feeling and to prove my loyality to my country.

I just checked in here to see what type of discussions might be going on, what kind of interesting aspects of 996's so that I might come back again based on what I see - - - -
what I see is innane political, religious bantering that has zip to do with what I believe this forum is intended to achieve, just another platform for the loners.

I feel a bit ignorant. What are daisy cutters?

Khalid
Were you born in UAE? Do all citizens/residents get these same benefits? If so I have plenty of friends that could use money and would love to visit your beautiful (read: giving) country!

Those are some great benefits. It's very nice to see how much UAE does to promote your education. I think that over the next twenty five years alternative energy will significantly devalue oil. Hence I strongly believe that regions which benefit from having an abundance of oil should invest that money in education because an intellegent citizenry is the one resource that can't be replaced by technology.

I can understand your sadness at the tragedy of September 11, I too lost a number of dear colleagues from our NY office in that attack.

On the other hand, I am involved in the oil industry, and know many very good people from the middle east.

Let us keep our emotions, political, religious or otherwise off the board, and keep it where it should be---Porsche's and the experiences that we have with them. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" />

Back to the original topic and my sincere apologies to what went on thru this post.. We are all human after all, we make mistakes and have our personal feelings.. I think everyone has had his point of view said in one way or the other.

Anyway, I am planning to get my Gtech pro (accelerometer) planted 90deg sideways on the windshield to measure maximum grip force at these curves.. I know the C4S pulls the highest among supercars (about .098g i think) on corners, and i would love to see if we can reach this at high speeds.

We will be safe dont worry guys, this is how the wacked boys fadi and khaled drive normally anyway!

caneaddict,

Almost all the United Arab Emirates Locals have this oppurtunities and some have even better. it all depends on how you do in your studies and where you want to end up. for example ill be working for the Army as a computer scientist. so the army sponsers me and pay my univer. fees and pay me salary after i graduate i work with them . some other people have diffrent oppurtunities to study aboard from diffrence sponsers. other than that there is the public universities which are free for all locals.

and about the land thing yes and the money yes its for everyone it comes but by time.

Harold:

The way khaled makes the car pop on high speeds thru his tip, it's amaaaaaaaaaaaaazing!! I can only think of my previous GSX1000R doing the same.. The fast gear change compared to fadi's manual made him gain a dew yards everytime.. But then again I still think it's an automatic!

As for the 993 issue, I m in love with the engine sound but the car is undergoing some service now, i havent had the chance to drive it, YET!
