I have 91,000 on my '99 C2.

I drive it hard, fast, and as often as possible. It's my daily driver.

A couple months ago I took it on a 3000 mile round trip going 95mph the entire way and it performed flawlessly.

The problems I've had with it have cropped up in the last couple weeks: Airbag light came on just today, and my turn signal doesn't reset and turn off after I've centered the wheel. The engine runs very strong and I couldn't be happier. I don't burn or drip any oil at all - NONE.

69k here with original RMS. Coolant tank replaced at 65k along with window regulator. Other than that, easy, fun filled, Tip driving. I am not a fan of the 10k mile tire rotation though!

VERY informative thread to us 99 owners. What a spectrum of issues/non-issues. It still looks like the majority are happy with their sweetspot (heh, heh) rides. Hope to see one of you on PINKS (but not against that monster VW bug).

Agreed mostserene...thought it was about time we heard some of the 'good' on this board, instead of all about the issues of these 99's.

and to really go against conventional thinking, 532, I actually LIKE the streamlined look of the 996 body and believe it will stand the test of time. But I realize I'm in the minority on this issue.

90K miles. Semi-daily driver, never had an RMS issue, no leaks whatsoever.
Replaced the following under warranty:
MAF, headlights (leaking), coolant tank

Had to replace clutch at 33K, new pads and rotors at 75K

Religiously serviced, had to replace these items recently:
Installed new battery, Idle Control Valve, Fuel carbon cannister.

That's it. Engine is still bone dry, coolant tank never leaks, car never overheats, AC still blasts cold, I change the oil every 7500 miles and it's never burned or needed oil between changes....i drive it like is stole it and it has never let me down.......still have the same grin since the day i picked it up.
