Hi all,
Been a while since I posted. Need some advice as I am looking to switch tires. I like serious handling performance for my driving the twisties and I am always looking for new tires.
Has anyone used the Yokohama ADVAN Neova AD07 tires on a 996? Impressions, thoughts, dislikes, likes, all welcomed! I have been using Pilot Sports up to this point mostly (with a brief flirtation with Pirellis, which did not fare well).
I am not as concerned about ride comfort, but I like to keep the noise as low as possible, so keep that in minds with your recommendations.
Thanks in advance!

I can comment on the yoko AO48's that I use on the track (they are road legal). They are unbelievable and out perform all the "road" tyres, but I would not recommend them as an every day tyre but yoko may make something close to the AO48 for road use. Would like to hearv how you get on as I might be tempted to try yoko when my SO2's wear out.

Just wondering why you did not like the Pirellis? I am running P-Zeros on a 2002 C2 that only gets driven in the canyon twisties. The only problem I have had with the last two sets is that I blow the rears out in anything between 5000-7000 miles. Also, they get really noisey about half way through their lifespan. I run Yoko's on an old MGB and love them. Although we are not talking the same type of car, I would be interested in putting a top quality Yoko tire on my P-car.
I hope someone will chime in that has had the experience with the Yoko's.
