I had this on my car for quite sometime before I removed it to try to sell my car. This varies. I didn't think it was too loud, some folks will say it is. I wasn't willing to spend $2k for something that either gives no performance gain, or worse, negative performance gain. Instead, (Call me cheap?) $500 got me a great sound (and less resonance than some mufflers I've heard) and I lost about 50lbs by the removal of the cans.

Yes, it was before. I still have the C2, and wished it were a little less vanilla. The bypass pipes were definitely fun!

Robyn - Here is an OT question. Have you seen or heard from Kirby lately? He just dropped out of sight very suddenly. I hope every thing is OK with him. If you see him, tell him not to be a stranger here! Thanks!

Hey Robin, welcome back..its been a long time for you and Kirby.

To stay ob subject I have the bypass pipes installed on my 996 which is not a daily driver. I do enjoy the tone it makes however, it is not for everyone.

Hi Tim - Yes, saw Kirb for dinner the other night. We are just licking our wounds if you will from the fiasco we recently went through. He is doing well, busy with his photography and work.

It is good to be back...it's been a rough road to say the least, some day, everyone will know the truth.

Thanks!

fabspeeds can be too loud for some. If you drove/raced a muscle car with straight pipes as a kid way back in the day, or like to go to the race track a lot, Fabspeeds shouldn't be too loud.

In any case you adjust to them (which may mean that u loose your hearing a bit until you think they're quiet enuff )

I'm running them and i love em.
