Default Long Overdue Pics

Finally got the dig camera up and running! I have pics to post, but they are too "big" to upload. Any ideas to reduce the file size. Unfortunately, I do NOT have photoshop. Anyway to do it with the native "paint" application on windows? Thx!

Chirag - yes, you can reduce the size in Windows Paint. Call up the pic in Paint, click on Image, then click on Stretch/Skew. You will get a pop-up window showing horizontal and vertical. Change BOTH of them from 100% to 50% or 75% (or whatever % you need in order to reduce the size sufficiently to post the pic). Just make sure you reduce the horizontal and vertical by the same amount so they stay proportionate to each other. Then save the pic as a jpeg file. If you want to keep the original file in tact, save the resized file as a different name.
