Anyone ever use their CPO

Luva, I have used a couple...Porsche of Princeton and Porsche of Roslyn. The latter has a great service dept, but the sales crew is tough to love. I have also tried Pepe Porsche, and they didn't blow me away, hence I don't use them anymore. (some swear by Pepe, so it could just be me!) If you are using the dealer in the city, I believe anyone is a better option....

Pepe's service is great. Mark and the guys there always work to make sure you're satisfied. Just remember to agree on a price beforehand and you'll never have anything to complain about afterwards (when most people moan and groan about service costs). Also, if you have a PCA card, Pepe offers discounts on service and parts.

Refused under CPO: air bag light/buckle, hose leak, and some other thing i can't remember. I even called Porsche north america on the $800 air bag light and they said "not covered," so for me CPO gave only the illusion of peace of mind.
People indicated that since i purchased car (with CPO) from a non-local dealer, it was less likely that the local dealer would go my way on "gray areas". So, I would probably not go the CPO route in the future and instead pay for a good PPI and use the remainder of funds for mods.

Just to clear any misconceptions, there are no "grey areas" to speak of in regards to the CPO program. Every warranty repair has a damage code that specifies the exact work done and what the dealer should be paid. The CPO policies and procedures manual has a long list of applicable damage codes. If the code you need is in there, it's covered. No code, no coverage, no room for interpretation, even by the best dealers.

Yes Phaedrus (great name....Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, right?), that's correct, but some dealers will go OUT OF THEIR WAY to help you get some satisfaction (splitting the cost, eating labor, etc).

I'm about to try out my CPO on Friday AM. Strange credit card type sound from the rear

Went to Pepe today.
Great shop and great service. Turned out I had a loose clamp. They took care of me right away and did not charge. True, PCA members get a discount.
I bought some parts.
I'm coming back soon for a suspension upgrade. They just won a loyal customer.
