Default 996 wont start

hey everyone, dont post often but visit a lot and thought you might find this useful

had a non starting 996, worked fine in the morning then nothing - all the lights coming on but engine not cranking...

first place I go is a search here and renntech but nothing obvious pointed out the problem

so give my specialist a call, theyve just had a boxster do the same thing to them diagnostics couldn't see the alarm, so they disconnected and reconnected the battery car started, suggested I try before paying out for a tow

so I tried and it worked! started straightaway alarm also went off right in my ear so now deaf but worth it as shes running again (plus makes the bypass pipes seem quieter!)

laters chriseboy

Hmm, maybe installing a battery on/off switch on the roof would make life easier....

Did the car sit for a while before it refused to start?

He might be thinking about Microsoft Windows. You know, nothing works. Shut down the computer and then reboot.
