What I've was told re: harnesses:

1. Never ever use 4 point harnesses; these can do more harm than good.
2. If you are using stock seats your are better off using the stock 3 point seatbelts
3. If you are using aftermarket seats, a 6 point is preferable to a 5 point harness.

3 point belts are perfectly safe to use with GT3 seats....even the GT3 come with them from the factory. Sorry if my post was confusing <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" />

I pulled my own post down as I didn't intend to offend anyone with "spam".

FWIW, the company that I work for would only have made about $100 on a set of two seats. I was asked to move some of these if possible and so I tried.

My apologies to all.

Chris, FWIW I wasn't offended personally. I think one of the great benefits of this board is information which leads to us saving all the money we can.

Maybe posting in the classifieds section would be more appropriate and attract more buyers.

How are you folks installing the harness with the stock belts? Are the BK clip-on brackets the only way to go or are there other alternatives? Please advise.

I have a six point Schroth snap in harness set and my factory 3-points. I used BK R-9003's (which are made for the tunnel side) for the outboard points and a custom BK piece (shaped like an R-9001 but short like a 9003) on the tunnel side, stacked with the factory receivers. This works well.
