The Sumi's are great tires - no issues at all.
The tread design is very similar to the Goodyears I had previously.
Also got a great price on them from Tire rack!

I guess I need to clarify my question. I am asking about the sidewall. The normal sidewall for a 285 section width 18 inch 996 rear tire would be a 30 to equal stock(285/30/18). I am asking if anyone is running a 285/35/18. Which means they are a bit talle (.5 inch) or have a larger diameter than stock. If you are running this size are you having any issues with ABS lights and other stuff like that.

Thanks again...

My Sumitomo's are only available in the 285/35/18 size, so I really did not have a choice.
As stated earlier, no issues. I look at tires as non-permanent equipment. They are going to have to be replaced every 1-2 years, so why pay high rates if you can find a tire that performs similar to the expensive ones.

fro: did you have to change the front tire size since now your rear tire size is taller? Or are you using the same factory front tire size?
