Alex, that's what I was afraid of. I know there is a third radiator on the EVO S/C kit and my tip already has one. I guess I can stop saving for the S/C. Would the GIAC flash or 200 cell cats be beneficial with the mods that I have already done?

IMHO and being in Cali, I wouldn't do it on a Tip. It'd be a lot of bother/hassle etc... I'd save the money and put it towards a 996TT

In terms of the flash, that will help with the intake you have (I have a file for that) and I've done them on tips before. The throttle response is better (e-gas gets remapped) and it's also mapped for 91. On our C2 we got 23hp on the dyno from having the intake, tuning and exhaust. Not earth-shattering but still decent

Hi Mfletch, thanks for the kind words! Sorry I saw your sig and with the 99s absolutely you have the throttle cable (I prefer it that way on ours too). It's a "smaller" file in terms of the memory on it and a different ECU but actually the same story pretty much except that the E-Gas is obviously not remapped...

I just saw the question on the 200 cell cats. My answer to that is based upon experience with the NA cars I wouldn't change them out. These cars are so fussy and just about every 100 cell/200 cell combo we've tried has resulted in a CEL at some point. Not worth it.

Thanks for the info Alex. I appreciate your honesty. When I am able to, I would love to come down and visit your shop. Project White Shark Shark turned out fantastic. It would make a great feature article in one of the Porsche magazines.

No worries, I hate to see people spend money needlessly on stuff (I've done it so many times myself). You're most welcome anytime and make sure you bring Chuck with you

You're right about that. There used to be a 993TT (GT2) in white that had those flares in the area...
