Portable jump starter...
This cold weather in NYC is taking its toll of my '99 996 C2's battery. Normally it's OK, and I think it's time for a fresh one anyway - I'll get it at a service due in Feb - but I don't want to get caught out in the meantime. Can anyone recommend a portable jump starter?

Get a new battery and charge your old one. Keep the charged one warm and use it as a jumper if needed.
The Porsche battery tender/trickle charger that plugs into the cig.lighter works fine for me.
