IMHO, octane boosters are NOT the answer to raising the octane levels of the fuels we buy.
This product makes a very small change in useful octane and will work OK in an emergency, but they leave reddish-brown messy deposits all over the plugs, valves and piston crowns that doesn't come off easily.
On a cost-per-gallon basis, mixing unleaded 100 octane race gas is FAR cheaper and much more effective. Plus, you don't have those deposits to deal with and long-term use of such chemicals will slightly raise the CR due to the accumulated buildup of these deposits.
This only serves to exacerbate the original problem.
