I think so. Smooth - short shifts with a firm feel -- just like the factory race cars. Certainly better than the stock shifter.
The instructions from B&M are more than complete. 40-50 minutes following the instructions (probably 20-30 if I read them first and then just did it).

I just installed the B&M short shifter. What a difference! 
It is so much better than the stock unit. It probably took me about an hour. The instructions make it pretty easy. Definitely worth the money and time to install!
