Default Homemade CAI

Hey guys! I came across this pic w/instructions on how to build your own CAI for the P-Car. Under FAQs in Rennlist.com. Has anyone attempted this setup, it looks pretty good based on the pic (professional). I am thinking about trying it out, but confused on how to assemble to MAF to the PVC? Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks!

That's what I was thinking...the stock setup pulls cold air as it is....

I believe a heat shield was added to this set up.

Even adding a heat sheild its still not as good as stock. Stock is tubed right into that intake tube so it pulls air directly from the outside...that's as cold as you're going to get.
