Yea i have never had this dulling problem, I have had my car for over 2 years and winter driven, I guess the trick is not to let them get that bad, Everytime the car gets a wash the tips get a quick clean up with Autosol.

You know the trick !

I love detailing the car, when I can spend my time on it, but I've never leave the dirty, get sticked so bad. The rims are another example. If you wash it, then take care about them with a wheel sealant. Next time you'd wash the car , this task will be so easy

This morning I used Scotch Brite, H2O and an old rag. No metal polish. Less than 15 minutes per tip, and they look great... I used to spend hours on my motorcyle(s) exhaust pipes.

Well, that was easy. Thanks for all the advice guys! Each side comes off in about a minute and on the buffer with a little emory, polish out nicely in a few more.

Rennlist does it again (wished I had a picture but the camera is not around?)
