Hey Keith,
I was going to e-mail you this evening and let you know the bar arrived today...thanks.
As for the tires, I have some time on the Ecsta's and can give you my impressions thus far.
First, it seems to be a stickier tire....but getting to the sticky point has taken longer than old V700's. The new tread pattern helps tremendously with wet traction...I was very impressed with this aspect. These tires seem smoother...not a better word for it. During an autocross last week, everyone remarked that the tires made absolutely no noise as I skidded around the track. The V700's would make that "crinkling newspaper" noise. Anyway, just my observations so far. Now that the tires are broken in, I can't wait to get back to a big track and try them out.
I am running 225/40/18 and 285/30/18's.
One more thing. I didn't get mine heat cycled so I had to do it myself. That could be the reason it has taken alot more miles to get them nice.
Talk to you soon.
Mike

Good evening Mike -
Glad the bar arrived, ?. slower than I would have thought. Thanks for the info on the tires. I?ll be using them this weekend. I have always run either Hoosier or last year, the BFG R1As. Both of those worked great at 37 psi front and 39 psi rear cold , confirmed with pyrometer testing at the Glen and Pocono. Any ideas on starting pressure for the Kumhos?
That Brey stuff is nice isn?t it?
Keith
