Question advice wanted on windshield repair or replacement

a large pebble at 80 mph has caused a small star crack in my widshield about half as big around as a dime. it doesn't interfere with visibility.

what should i do?

I have had repairs before. No problems and barely noticeable. If you think it's likely you'll get more such stars, I'd just have them repaired.

ignacio,
you better repair it coz the crack is now a weak starrting point for the tiny haircracks to expand now.. especially at high speeds due to wind force

I have had a repair so succesful here, surprisingly in nigeria, that one can barely notice the crack originally..

Repair it before it's too late and no need to change the glass it's too expensive!

Hi Ignacio, I believe that you can claim it under your insurance as "comprehensive" and it should not effect your rate. HTH Dave
