Default Part number help needed

Hi guys,

Was replacing my SAI valve this weekend and accidentally broke a coolant bracket, there is no part number stamped on there. Anyone have any idea what the part number is?

The bracket connects a coolant hose that goes into the left upper side of the engine department to a mount that goes in front of the engine right below the alternator.

It is a plastic bracket that is secures on the engine block that offers a connection to the two hoses.

Here is a picture of the part:

Here is the culpit that was setting off my check engine light P0410

The SAI was completely open, which caused the hot gas to get back up to the check valve and burnt it. The check valve now will not open with vacuum pressure, and the SAI valve blow air both ways. The SAI valve is the same part number as used in the 993, which is a common failure part. I read in the tech manual that the part was upgraded to a combined check/SAI unit on the late 2000+ model.

It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, had to remove the air box, throttle body, part of the first part of the intake runner, alternator. Only special tool needed was a modified crawfoot to get under the SAI valve. The electrical connectors on the 996s sure is crappy, reminded me of the days when I worked on GM cars... the connectors are a PITA to disconnect, often your thumb pressure isn't enough, had to use a small flat screw driver to pry the tab up in order to disconnect them.

try these P/Ns and see if they are it:

996.106.513.01
996.106.520.01

The PET catalog is not real clear as to what is what on the coolant lines, supports and clamps, but these look close.

Here is a picture of the SAI one way valve and the check valve, I am surprised there aren't as many 996 owners with this issue. The SAI check valve is a known item of failue on many of the 993s. I guess only time will tell.
