996 chrome wheels and aerokit
I'm looking at a few used 996's.
1. One has an aerokit. I'm not overly fond of the rear spoiler. What's involved in restoring it to a non-aerokit spoiler? What are folks feeling of relative resale value with the aerokit. To me, it's likely a minus despite its hefty original cost.
2. One has chrome wheels. Definitely not my style (can you tell I don't go for flash?). What might a set of perfect 18" factory chrome turbo-look wheels bring? I would definitely replace them.

If you don't like the looks of the aerokit, you shouldn't buy one with it. It adds to the price (assuming it's the factory kit), and I think the car would look somewhat strange with the rear wing removed but the rest of the aerokit in place.
I don't like the bright wheels look either, but some apparently do, so factory chromes (god help the factory) should have a market.
