looking for 1999 996
I am looking for a 99 996 coupe silver or black exterior and grey or black interior. Prefer aero package but isn't important. Tip or manual OK. Anyone know someone with a similar car looking to sell? I was at a few dealers but they wanted high retail. Thanks

caneaddict,
the "Want To Buy" / "Want To Sell" are best posted in the classified section of Rennlist. All prospective buyers/sellers frequent it regularly.
Also check on eBay, Autotrader, etc.
Regards.

I know of a silver/black 1999 C2 Coupe about to go back to Porsche at the end of its lease...the buyout sounded high to me (over $50k for a 45k mile car), but might be worth following up...drop me a line if you would like a referral....

sawmilldriver,
Congratulations on the C4S. An amazing car in my opinion. Let us know how the order progresses.
Am unsure on whether to trade up. There are lots of good 2002's that are sitting in the lot and will be priced to go once the '03 models come around. There are also a couple of pre-owned '02 C4S' that are up for sale with minimal miles (although I did just see a '02 C4S with *9000* miles -- wow!!).
And to top it all off, some good deals on an NSX in the area (shhhhh, I know it's now a P-car).
Of course, with the economy where it is, I've got 49% of my brain telling me to sit tight. Luckily, the other 51% is still in love with exotics. As they say, majority wins.
What are your thoughts? Anything in mind for me?
Regards.
