Post 996C4 idle problem

my 996 C4 cab has an uneven tickover when warm/hot. Almost to extent of cutting out. It has been suggested that an "Idler Valve" is responsible. Has anyone experienced same problem and if so how was it solved.

Could be a lot of things... bad gas (petrol), loose vacuum line, fuel pressure, fuel filter, etc., etc. I'm a little surpised that your check engine light hasn't come on... it usually doesn't take much to trigger the light. Your dealer should be able to hookup his PST2 tester and get a readout of "out-of-spec" sensors. From this they should be able to fix the problem.
