Default How do you remove the sunvisor?

I was going to do the remote range extension, but couldn't get the visor off without thinking I would do irreversible damage. The post said it just pulls right off, but as I was yanking on the thing, it just kept bending.

it actually slides off leaving behind them long stem that is in the visor itself. Don't try to pull it down out of the roof. you can pry the little plastic cap at the roof gently to reveal a torx screw head that you need to remove. I think that there are better instructions on renntech...just search.

Yea thats about it, once the cap exposes the torx.... once thats out.... pull the visor side to side but not too hard and it will come right off.

I guess these are the instructions you are using:

If I recall correctly..for my car there were no torx screws, just pulled down and off it came.

The visor pulls off the supporting rod. Just lower the visor (as if you were driving into the sun) and pull/push the visor toward the rear view mirror. The visor should come right off.
