Post Remote Radar Detectors and Lazer Deflectors

Has anyone had experience with the Passport SRX remote radar detector and lazer deflector? It seems to present the best perforance and options from the review on the speedzones site, but it also is the most expensive. I would not use any K-40 system and do not want a V-1 or other dash/windshield mounted device even if they have a remote dislpay. The ability to turn off the lazer deflector after one or two encounters and its supposed ability show no error message on the lazer gun is a sensible option. Blinder M-10 and Escort ZR3 lazer deflectors also seem like good options, but I still need undetectable, remote radar detection capability.
What I want to especially avoid is the situation where I'm going 40 in a 30 mph zone along with everyone else, but get singled out for the usual reason.

I use the K-40 remote system with laser defuser in my 996 Cab and have for over three years with NO problems. Why not use a K40 system?

I also have a V-1 in another vehicle (Benz S500). I prefer the K40 LEDs in the instrument cluster, a quick chirp and I'm slowing down to take in the surroundings. It's simple, easy, and I don't really have to take my eyes off the road to decipher the info (as on the V-1).

The reviews that I have read on the K-40 give it low ratings on radar detection compared to V-1, Passport and Bel equipment. It is also the most expensive remote, although the new Passport is close.

I just received my Escort ZR3 Remote Laser Jammer. I'm going to use it inconjunction with my Valentine one.

I'm looking for advice on the install in the front grill for the detector transmitters. Does anyone have advise, experience.

thanks Badbruno
